Christa is a qualified English teacher with over 15 years’ experience in education, teaching and tutoring students across the middle and senior years in Australia and the UK. She holds a BA (Hons) in English Language & Literature in Education and a Postgraduate Diploma in Secondary Education (English) from the University of Birmingham, U.K., and is a registered teacher in Victoria.

Christa has extensive experience teaching English, Literature and EAL, including VCE, and specialises in helping students strengthen their reading, writing, essay structure, text analysis and written expression. She also has experience working with younger students and understands the importance of establishing strong literacy foundations early.

Drawing on both her professional experience and her own lived experience of ADHD, Christa has a particular understanding of the challenges neurodivergent students can experience with organisation, confidence and written tasks. She uses clear structure and manageable steps to help students develop strategies that work for them.
